IATSE is the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts.

Because Local 128 has had a long history in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex theatrical venues, our members have worked with and supported some of the greatest names in the entertainment industry, including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Sade, Barry Manilow, and even corporate giants Mary Kay, among others. Currently, IATSE 128 members support shows in Bass Performance Hall, Dallas Music Hall, Winspear Opera House, and Majestic Theater. And we don’t just work in theaters—we also support business conferences and live concerts in arenas and outdoor venues throughout the DFW Metroplex.

Our members are highly qualified and skilled individuals, dedicated to making your event a huge success. We take pride in our history of providing first-rate technical and logistical support, even as technology evolves. Lighting and sound systems have become more complex, scenic shops are using new materials to build sets and displays, and costumes are now designed for lightning quick changes. Quick Facts about IATSE Local 128

We are not a company

IATSE Local 128 is simply an organization of industry professionals with common goals. IATSE Local 28 does not make a profit, and your payroll does not get split up within the organization. As employees, we cover our own operating costs. The benefit percentages go directly to the employees, and because they appreciate the work environment, we see higher productivity.

Payroll

If your company is not set up to take care of payroll, IATSE Local 128 has a working relationship with a payroll services company that can take care of your payroll and workers’ compensation needs.

Who we work with

Local 128 provides skilled rigging, carpentry, lighting, audio, wardrobe, hair and makeup personnel to major venues, producers, and promoters throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area.

We take great pride in our long-term partnerships with groups such as the Broadway Dallas, Texas Ballet, Freeman Inc, Luna Lux Inc, Casa Mañana, Fort Worth Symphony, Dallas Symphony, I Rise Productions, Performing Arts Fort Worth, and AT&T Center for the Performing Arts, among others.
